Offering Hands and Hearts Alongside Fellow Volunteers

Our leadership team supports and guides the work of Re-Member by bringing diverse professional experience and expertise from the financial, legal, nonprofit, academic and business sectors to the Board of Directors.

Their vision, personal financial support and business acumen help set the strategic direction and priorities for the organization as they work closely with Re-Member’s Executive Director, who manages day to day operations on site at Pine Ridge.

Our Board members are committed to visiting Re-Member at least once a year, offering their hands and hearts alongside fellow volunteers.

Dan Peters, Chair

Dan first volunteered at Re-Member in 2018 and joined the Board in 2020. Dan is currently our treasurer and works closely with the Executive Director and Director of Finance and Administration to keep Re-Member’s finances in order.

A passionate servant leader, Dan spends much of his time volunteering for worthy organizations. In his spare time, you’ll usually find him on the water with a fishing rod in his hand.

Dan holds degrees in Biology and Dentistry and is currently semi-retired. He resides in Grand Rapids, MI.

Lori Wyckoff, Vice Chair

Lori began volunteering with Re-Member in 2008 and joined the Board in 2011. Life and work required her to step away from serving on the Board in 2013. While she has continued to support Re-Member in the interim, she is thrilled to be able to step back into active service, volunteering on the Rez and re-joining the Board in 2024.

Lori’s life has been a long arc of caring ministry, from nursing through early intervention and now as a pastor. Along the way she has volunteered for a variety of organizations, but none closer to her heart than Re-Member and serving the Lakota. She brings skills in leadership, stewardship, storytelling, and community-building to Re-Member.

Lori holds a BS in Nursing, a Master of Divinity, and a Certificate in Interfaith Leadership. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ who has served several congregations in the Boston/Northshore area and southern NH. She currently resides in Andover, Massachusetts.

She has since built a career in the nonprofit sector focused on economic development, technology, and impact initiatives that help communities thrive.

In 2024, Nicole volunteered with Re-Member, an experience that renewed her commitment to native communities.
