June Update

Tomorrow (June 2), our Operations Manager and incoming Executive Director, Will Paese, plans to run 30+ miles in support of Re-Member to raise funds for our construction materials budget. His goal is to raise $100 per mile, for a total of $3,000.

At today’s prices, that would almost cover the purchase of a load of 2x4x8s and 45 sheets of the panel siding we use for skirting trailer homes. During our busy summer season, we place an order every few weeks.

As Will travels from Rushville to Gordon and back to Rushville in the beautiful panhandle of Nebraska, he will have plenty of time to think about the productive start to our season. Already this spring, we have delivered 48 single and 17 bunk beds, installed eight outhouses, built 10 sets of deck/steps and four ramps, and skirted four trailers.

We invite you to tune in to our Facebook page on Friday for live updates and to offer your support. Good luck, Will!

Celebrating 25 Years

It was a storm that those in West Michigan still talk about 25 years later. It was a storm that would help start Re-Member.

In the aftermath of the storm, Re-Member co-founder Keith Titus found himself thinking about the people of South Dakota’s Pine Ridge Reservation, a community that he had been introduced to just weeks earlier alongside his wife, Ginny, and co-founder Mike Alles.

Our work is funded in large part by charitable gifts. Join us in Re-Membering the past and celebrating the future as a founding member of Team 25 with a recurring gift of $25 a month.
